Weather Festival brings the heat this Summer
Paris’ Weather Festival returns after a year hiatus this June for another tantalising three days-worth of non-stop house and techno. A brief word of warning: please excuse any weather-related puns. It’s almost too easy…
Taking place at the Parc des Expositions Bourget a short distance away from central Paris between the 3-5 June, Weather is certainly kicking up a storm in 2016: 46 hours of music broken up by only 6 ensures an aural feast (no, buffet) is most certainly on the menu. A who’s-who lineup reads like a compendium of house and techno royalty so we’ll narrow the list down to those we’re most looking forward to seeing: beguiling Italian maestros Donato Dozzy and Nuel as Aquaplano, red-hot stateside selector The Black Madonna, Parisien ClekClekBoom affiliate NSDOS and OG funk-cadet Egyptian Lover playing live, Japan’s inimitable DJ Nobu, and a Robert Hood Hip Hop set – all looking unmissable.
The festival also continues to set the standard for eco-friendly large-scale events as per the figures shown below:
