Berlin-based Colombian David Gtronic has been delivering his brand of dubbed-out minimal as a key member of the notorious Vatos Locos collective since 2012.

The producer kicks off the brand-new Black Wood imprint in some style, with an EP entitled Kryptoo. Here we hold our aural microscope to ‘Sequence’ in particular – wistful, stargazing atmospherics meet sharp, fidgeting beats.

Joined by OTHERTONES’ founder Dan Farserelli on the flip with a punchy remix, the record’s unrelenting groove is both effective in the dance and a thought-provoking home listen too.
