esque returns for first birthday shindig at The Depot
East London promoters esque return to the London circuit this Saturday December 5th, as they take over a new Clapton venue to celebrate their first birthday.
Joining residents on the night will be Golesworthy, whose recent Groove Points and Housework nights have been lighting up sold out dance floors in London and Bristol for the last couple of years, and Dane Bradshaw, the affable host of the multifarious The Love Below events, which has been assimilating various strains of house, techno and disco under one roof – whether in Dalston or Leipzig.
Golesworthy arrives fresh from sets at fabric, Berlin’s OHM and Bristol’s Simple Things festival, where he warmed up for Galcher Lustwerk, while Dane’s recent 5 hour workout at Ost-xxx proved him a DJ of finesse and eclecticism. As always, esque residents Michael Yumé, Noski and UE family Tiran and Rhemayo will also be soundtracking the evening. For a taster, check out esque.mix001 below – mixed by Tiran and Michael Yumé.
Set in a disused tramway terminus, The Depot is one of East London’s most exciting new venues and looks to be a unique location for esque to bring in their second year in action.
