Say hello to Varkala – a new three day 500-capacity festival situated on the outskirts of London and launching this Summer.

Taking place between the 5th and 7th of August at the Hill Farm site in Theydon Bois, the lineup boasts a who’s who of DJ’s DJs and up and coming talent. Among the headliners are Homopatik resident Mr Ties, Trend FM and Radical Radio’s Intergalactic Gary, ’90’s Chicago riser and Balihu Records founder Daniel Wang, and eminent San Franciscan Avalon Emerson, fresh off the back of her storming latest release The Frontier.

With recent multifarious EPs for Electric Minds and Aus Music, Fold‘s is a name on many lips and earns a spot on the billing, alongside the mind behind World Unknown, Andy Blake, and Red Greg, mastermind behind Ebonite, the 70’s/80’s disco club night in London’s East End. Finally, UE editor Adam Tiran will go toe to toe with Yumé Records co-founder Michael Yumé for a special World-A-Music showcase.
