July 23rd 2014: anyone who was anyone was tuning into what promised to be an epic Berlin Boiler Room featuring techno heavyweights Function and Cassegrain. First up was a relatively unknown entity, Born in Flamez, for anyone unfamiliar with Berlin’s underground music scene. Masked dancers in tow, what proceeded was a genre-bending subversive experience and one which truly announced Born in Flamez onto the scene. In October 2014, Born in Flamez dropped their long awaited debut Polymorphous on UnReal Audio. With Berlin’s musical output seeming to focus more and more on dark, murky Techno in 2015, it is extremely refreshing to find artists like Born in Flamez willing to go against the grain and push forward a sound that isn’t bound to genre, just experiences.

A year on from the release of Polymorphous, Born in Flamez is back with friends in tow for Polymorphous Remixed. Featuring extensive reworks by Paula Temple, CYPHR, Anika, She’s Drunk and Aïsha Devi, this EP is truly not one to be missed.

Born in Flamez has taken time out of their busy schedule to work on UE.34 for us, featuring many of the tracks from the remix EP and a whole host of fresh new material. Sit back and relax, you’re in for a treat!
